So this just reminds me of the barbecue place that we have back at home. Of course we were on vacation and there’s so many places that were packed full and we were so hungry. We just decided to come here. They are coleslaw absolutely delicious. They pulled pork sandwiches absolutely delicious. My husband got thethree pork dinner and he had some leftover and when we heated up in the middle of the night it had our cabin smelling like a barbecue and it was so good. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you want. Good service great food and can’t forget about the sweet tea.

My family and I got take out Thanksgiving night while on our vacation. We had our traditional Thanksgiving meal early in the day, and needed a small meal in the evening. We always stop at Corky's while visiting the area. We love the pulled pork. The pulled pork nachos were very good. My husband tried the smoked wings for the first time and loved them. The pork rinds were very tasty as well. We will definitely be back on our next trip to the area.

When my two now adult kids were younger we took a trip to Memphis. At the time we had never heard of Corky’s. But we decided to stop and it was so good. So good it has been a great memory now for 15+ years. We’ve been back to Memphis once since that first time. Well, this year for Thanksgiving, but most importantly our niece’s , we were in Gatlinburg. I found out that there was a Corky’s a few miles down the road. Well, it was a no brainer. We had to go. As we walked in we greeted my the woman at the front and she took us to our table. The very friendly server came by and took our drink order. We told her what we wanted. We also told her we were ready to order our meal as well. I, like many have always loved Corky’s dry rub on the ribs. But this time I wanted to change it up just a little and get them muddy. As one would expect, they were AWESOME. Two of my kids got the stuffed potatoes and my youngest got the kids pulled pork. And topped it off with a Moon Pie banana pudding. Which was very delicious. But we were surprised they didn’t use the classic banana moon pie instead of the chocolate one. But regardless, wonderful. We pay our check and wanted to get some sauce to take home. We got to the lobby and pick a couple bottles out. The last time we’re were here there was only the puritans apple bbq sauces. We go to pay for it and the hostess was no where to be found. Ok, I’ll just look at the shirts. Found one I liked, but didn’t have my size. So when I paid for the sauce I was going to ask about different sizes. A family got in line while I was looking for her. Then another and another. Buy the time someone came up front, the line was out the door. So I ended up putting the sauces back and not worry about the tshirt. Sure you can buy the sauces online, but there’s something about getting things from the place and time of your visit. Maybe someday.

We came on a Monday night and it was dead in there so it’s either the best thing ever or worst thing ever. Tonight it was the best thing, Harriet was a wonderful and very attentive server. The catfish was phenomenal, my ribs were very good and fall-off—the-bone. Fries, baked beans and potato were good as well. If I had to nitpick it would be the corn on the cob was overcooked to mushy and I wish they had real butter instead of vegetable spread for the potato it made it very oily but that’s just me looking for something to complain about. All-in-all we will definitely be back.

Seated immediately and nobody came to see us after sitting there at least 15 minutes. Proceed to leave at that point and nobody said a word. Very disappointing

The bbq here is decent. We had the pigout sampler, fried dill pickles, dry rub memphis ribs, brisket, creamy mac n cheese, fried catfish with jalapeno hush puppies, sweet potato fries, fried okra and corn on the cob.

It felt like a hit or miss type situation roller coaster of what was good and meh. The brisket was dry but the pork rinds were super good. The fried catfish was great but the sweet potato fries and corn on the cob left much to be desired. The fried okra and jalapeno hush puppies were a crowd favorite. The ribs were decent though it felt less flavorful in the meat section than the crust.

The staff was nice and attentive when possible. Overall, it was nice place to try once.
