OMG!! We had such a great time on this tour. There were 4 couples and everyone enjoyed themselves! Ms. Sandy was the absolute best and was a perk of the tour. We will be back!

Our group of 10 had the pleasure of having Kristen as our host for the wine tasting. Her personality and customer service are both top tier, wish I could give her more than 5 stars. The wines taste much better here than at other winerys I've visited!

This beautifully stoned built castle building was easily spotted as we visited the Smokey Mountains for the first time together. My US Veteran Marine Corps fiancé Nathan took me to my first wine tasting ever and I loved it! Our bartender was Jenn and she was the nicest ginger we’ve met in town! She was highly knowledgeable about the winery’s history. With menu suggestions for our preferences and different flavors to choose from we were able to purchase three bottles of wine to take back home to New Orleans, Louisiana. This winery has its own gift shop and its own wine distillery where they make all their wines. It’s packed with so many bottles of different types of wines on the wall shelves. There also was the local tour guide who greeted us as well while we tasted the five wines we chose. Overall, I enjoyed our tasting and experience here at the Mountain Valley Winery! I highly suggest this winery if you’re in visiting this romantic area.

Kristin was absolutely amazing!

Kristin made our experience at the winery unforgettable. From the moment we walked up to the bar, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the wines. She took the time to explain each pour, gave great recommendations based on our tastes, and made the whole experience feel fun and relaxed — never rushed.

You can tell she truly loves what she does. Her personality, attention to detail, and genuine care for guests really set her apart. We laughed, learned, and enjoyed every sip thanks to her. If you’re lucky enough to be served by Kristin, you’re in for a great time. We’ll definitely be back and hope to see her again!

Kristin is the best! I’m typically a more dry wine drinker and this winery had a wonderful selection of dry wines that were actually GOOD. 10/10 recommend. My husband and I both had a wonderful experience.

Very disappointed with my experience. The man with glasses had no type of communication with our party, didn’t give us any background information on the wines and looked like he had an attitude and was rushed to go home. The wine was good but I wish we had a more positive and memorable experience.

Seems to be a common trend to have waitstaff who come off as rude. I think the chick who served us name was Jenn? I felt a negative energy vibe off of her rude and aggressive. I did not feel a warm friendly welcome as she was obviously aware we were “tourist” from out of town. Guess the people who work I. This area are just used to out of town visitors. I would not return. Also overpriced. The wine we tasted do taste good, but bittersweet as it was a painful process to get through. Not pleasant. I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable.

First time visiting this winery and let me just say, I will be back! The wines were so tasty and refreshing. Me & a group of girls went in for just a tasting and left with the blackberry wine! Kristin, the lady who served the tastings, had amazing energy and was soo friendly! She definitely made the experience better. Congrats again on your new engagement!!!!! Everyone needs to go visit Kristin & leave her a tip!!!
