If you are trying to find a place where everyone can be happy and find something to eat, this is it. Our whole family was “hangry” and we walked in and were able to eat right away. Service was great, soup and salad, lots of meat variety for the buffet bar too. Everyone loved it, and that is saying something!!

Nice place for breakfast. The food was good and the service was good as well. It was pretty quiet so me and my little man and I were able to have a nice talk with breakfast. We got the breakfast buffet.

Megan was amazing. We had a large group of 26, and she didn't skip a beat. She had a wonderful attitude, and we didn't want for any refills napkins. You need a 20 more just like her. I can not say enough good things.

Hi all, I'm actually a young man that is highly disabled but to look at me I look rather normal I'm almost completely blind to say the most. The waiter was extremely nice bringing me the right drink and even checking to make sure I didn't need more often as well as telling me the food that was brought and where it was situated even though I ordered a very random order a double burger with Swiss and mushroom combining two of them. As well as the burgers were cooked exactly right- well done - and the food came rather quickly. As well as all the workers were very kind and said hello and held doors and such for me as they could tell I was walking with a blind King so they were all just up to par as well the day after I got home in North Carolina I ended up calling back and speaking to the location manager because he is the top of the chain as in everything he is trying to crack down on and doing is up to par and making that location very memorable in my opinion as I compared it to a steakhouse :-)

First time at any Shoney’s. The service was good, the place was empty on a Wednesday night at 7:00pm. I thought the food might be like a Denny’s, I was right. Presentation was good, food was average, the fries were way undercooked. Given it’s in Pigeon Forge, the tax is higher, not sure if prices in general are higher too. In the end, not good enough for the price. We tried their cookie skillet. A little smaller than the menu suggested/looked, but it was good. Probably the best part of all of our meals.

We came here for a family breakfast for our final day and ended up having a terrible experience. We walked in and instantly got the cold shoulder from the greeter at the register. We were sat at a 4 seater table even though there were several 6 seaters open. We waited 5 minutes before we were even acknowledged. Our waitress Jessica was the only pleasant experience. We didn’t pitch a fit about the seating due to not knowing if they had reservations or something but then they sat two seperate 2 person parties at a 6 seater. The food was not good and it was just over all an awful experience! If it wasn’t for our incredible waitress it would have been a complete disaster. We come at least once a year and will never go back.

Wasn't as nostalgic as when I was a kid but food was great service was great just wish the food was put out a little faster but not a complaint

Kid-friendliness: Very much kid friendly, just wish the bathrooms were bigger than 1 toilet + 1 urinal = disaster for the restaurant to be so big I'll never understand who thought that would suffice

The food was horrible. Several people in our party were sick afterward! The server was the only high point.

12/19/24 - We went for the breakfast buffet on our vacation. I haven't been to a Shoney's that I remember since I was a kid and our local one closed. Service was excellent. I wanted hot chocolate with whipped cream like I had when I was young. The waitress thought they were out until tomorrow. She apparently went looking and found one pack. The hot chocolate tasted just like I remembered and the whipped cream was so thick and yummy. The breakfast bar was disappointing. I think they had 2 types white gravy. Gravy from one side of the bar was flavorless. Biscuits were good. Bread pudding looked good, but was blah. Bacon was good. They had 2 types sausage once they finally put it out (it wasn't on the bar when we got our first plate). They had pancakes, French toast sticks and scrambled eggs, flavorless ham, rice with peppers, onions and sausage. The best thing was probably the thin sliced boneless pork chops. They did have the salad bar items and fruit out as well. We got full enough. Breakfast buffet and lunch buffet prices are $14.99. Bathrooms we're clean. If I based my decision to go back on the service, I would definitely go back. If I based it on the hot chocolate with the whipped cream, I would go back. If I based it on the breakfast bar food, I probably wouldn't go back.

We never got my nephews hot fudge cake for his birthday after waiting forever after we finished eating. The bathrooms smelled so bad we couldn’t even handle to smell long enough to use the bathroom.
