Buffet has changed to family style. Selections are fair at best. No carving station. Meatloaf dry, chicken and dumplings was watery with very little chicken. No children's menus. Very disappointing desserts were awful. Could hardly find the strawberry on the strawberry shortcake and banana pudding g was boxed banana flavor putting with one vanilla wafer. No bananas. Cobbler? Well that was the worst. No fruit and just a Sara Lee bite size pre made cold fruit compote.

We always had a dinner at the song and hearth every trip to this areas of the Smokey mountains Changing the format from buffet to family style is awful Charging for drinks is ridiculous The deserts were terrible We always had to get reservations but this new format has changed everything The restaurant only had a few customers Somebody really bumped their head when they came up with idea If something is not broken then don't try to fix it

New system of food service. Family style Prefer old system of buffet, variety was more extensive Missed carving station and pasta. Food selection was the same as eating at Granny's in the park Service is still amazing

Our reservation was based on a buffet that we did not get. We wanted prime rib and the web site advertised that. Apparently everything changed with no notice. The menu was good except for dessert. Banana pudding with imitation banana mix.. Really??? It's a little insulting to pay 40+ per person to get desserts like this and no buffet to save the corporation a few bucks. This is not a good look! The chocolate pudding same thing imitation chocolate mix. Not a fan! Maybe rethink obvious amateur moments in the future not a good look

First and perhaps most importantly, without prior warning, they have switched from a southern buffet to family style dining with very limited choices. Our server was really struggling with the new format, and consequently our dining experience was not good. Also, it appears they have changed several of their tried and true recipes, which were some of our favorites, all of which were not for the better. Overall, we were very disappointed. We had two additional reservations at this restaurant planned over the rest of our vacation, we have since decided to cancel both of those. We hope they figure things out, and get the Song & Hearth back to its usual pleasurable dining experience very soon.

We have enjoyed “Dolly's gift to Locals” for several years. This year was a total disappointment. Not only was it buy one, get one half price, the buffet was markedly “dumbed down “. Desserts were mediocre at best. The fried chicken and salmon were good. However, who uses tartar sauce on baked salmon? The meat loaf was dry. Tonight was the last night of Dolly's gift. Usually, the crowds are huge. Not tonight. I guess we were the last to hear of the change in the spirit of the gift. Disappointed in the entire event. Will not participate again. We have too many great restaurants in Sevier County.

The host that brought us to our table was very kind. The food was GREAT with the fried chicken being seasoned perfectly, and all of the sides, ( greens, mac n cheese, hushpuppies, potatoes) were good also. Deserts were amazing from pies to donuts. The atmosphere was like a kitchen, but with a southern touch if that makes any sense. Highly recommend Song & Hearth and give it a try!Parking: Several spots attached to the Dream-More.Kid-friendliness: Kids are treated like kings or queens!

On Feb 19th, we went for dinner and expected BOGO - when our check came we found out that now the promo is Buy One / Get One Half Off, imagine our surprise after reading online that the BOGO applied. The food was mediocre at best - the buffet offered fried fish (looked and tasted like frozen fish patties), fried okra (okra was raw), the salad options were meager, and the meatloaf on the carving station was the worst. All in all such a disappointment! We've gone for both breakfast and dinner many times in the past and have never had such terrible food. Don't bother - might as well get fast food. (Since this is the off season, there was plenty of seating but the place was almost empty.)

Finally had the opportunity to try out the Song & Hearth. They did not disappoint and they definitely live up to the hype I’ve heard. During peak season I’d recommend a reservation as it is a fairly small venue from what we could see.

The Hostess is second to none. She treats each guest like family. Our server Karen was efficient and very personable. We are a church group that goes every year and a trip to Dreammore is always a favorite event. Everything was as close to perfect as a restaurant is capable of providing. It is a wonderful event.

We went specifically on a Friday for the prime rib. When we started dinner we went to the entrees and there was no shrimp out and no prime rib. We were told the prime rib was still in the oven. The worker didn't know how long it would be. Eventually the shrimp came out and still no prime rib. Waiter was great and also asked the kitchen about the roast and still it was a wait of 20+ minutes. We expected better to tell you the truth. The worker at the prime rib station barely understood English, so conversation with her was pointless. Not sure we will go back to the dinner buffet and we live locally & are diamond pass holders.

They increased prices, food was not up to previous years and was not kept refilled. Service was just ok, even though no one was in the restaurant. I would choose to eat somewhere else for the money.

We got the buy one get half off buffet. Originally we were told ribs would be on there when reservation was made. It wasn't. Fried chicken and desserts were pretty good. Everything else was OK. The thing that upset me the most was the 18% gratuity that was automatically added in. Which nearly negates the 1/2 off price. Plus the fact that the server only brought us drinks and biscuits. Definitely not worth 18%. Plus we rarely saw her. Will not go back.
