Hidden off the main road, The Old Mill Pottery house has amazingly great food. the fried green tomato BLT was delicious, the chicken pot pie was fresh, delicious, and one of the best I have ever had. There was no wait when we came in, and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this if you have never been here, and if you have eaten here, then you already know what I am saying.
Fantastic food with very large portions (I got the Ribeye sandwich and it was amazing). A bit of a wait, but there's shop nearby (like Pigeon River Pottery) that let you wait for your table in the A/C.
Pros - The food is absolutely phenomenal. The service from staff was fantastic. The food is well-proportioned and very flavorful for the price.
Cons - long wait, it took about 2 hours from the time we arrived to the time we left so it's not a quick stop. It is the temperature of Antarctica in there LOL.
