The place is beautiful,inside and out. Not the typical BBQ joint. Small and long table seating, and tables on the porch can accommodate the intimate meal or a crowd all at once. The expected menue available. We loved the buffet items. Beautifully smoked meats and perfectly fried catfish, side dishes to rival the best and save room for banana pudding.The servers were friendly and attentive to drinks. This restaurant is located in a stout log structure and has a warm feeling to it. Sit on the porch or at the front windows for good views across rolling pastures to low mountains beyond. I wish I could leave as good a remark about the food but my pulled pork plate was so dry I wondered if it was really chicken. No amount of the sauce helped. The tater tots were great however so if I came back I might stick to fried food.
