sadly my first time going to the hickory house in Pulaski will more likely be my very last. (Friday October 17, 2025) as soon as we walked thru the door I was stared at by a lady in the back behind the counter as if I was wearing a clown costume, very unfriendly, unwelcoming feeling. we were then seated & the lady put the menus & silverware on the table & just walked off. where we sat & looked at the menu for 17 minutes before we were greeted by a waitress who got our drink orders....read full review
A friend and I had seen Hickory House on “Tennessee Crossroads.” We drove down from Nashville today for lunch at the restaurant. Great food made our trip worthwhile.
We ordered fried oyster,grilled cheese with fries,ribeye,catfish fillet and to go brisket tonight for dinner but the food not impressive. I requested to include a bbq sauce to my brisket but the server didnt included so that very disappointed. I paid $112 for the food and we didnt enjoy the food and service. The server kept forget our food and didnt bring the knife to my ribeye. This is our first time to the place and we are not going back.
