LOVED it!!! First time but definitely won't be the last. The salads were very fresh, the filet was probably the best I've eaten out, and the loaded baked sweet potato was heavenly. The best part was the service, it is rare (this day and time) to have every need met before you even had to ask but our server was always one step ahead and so pleasant. I'm telling everyone I know to make a trip to J.R.s!!!

Had a hair on my salad plate. They did re-make it but I had requested no onions or cucumbers and it had both in it. Then my daughter’s hamburger steak was brought out with no gravy and our appetizer arrived as we were leaving. They apologized but didn’t seem to really care or offer any discount esp for appetizer we didn’t even get to eat.. have been here before and loved it and I’m really disappointed..

It's my first time yesterday we eat at JR steak restaurant am disappointed i ordered shrimp scampi looks watery a lot of butter, I did not finish to eat taste not good.
We were on our way to Mississippi and drove a little out of the way just to eat here. We were looking forward to it the whole way down. I highly recommend trying this place out…the ribeye is fantastic. I’m sure other things are great also but I can’t pass their ribeye. Try it out….

This doesn't reflect the whole menu only just what I ordered. I ordered the 16oz ribeye, sautéed mushrooms and onions with steakhouse Mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was to watery. It wasn't bad but watery. Onions and mushrooms were ehh. I've had much better. The steak I ordered medium. It didn't come medium it came medium/well. Also it was marinated in Worcester sauce. WHY?????? it tastes horrible. Just season steak and grill. DONE!!!! stop marinating it in Worcester sauce!!!!! That's all the steak tastes like is Worcester sauce GROSS!!! However the salad looks and tasted good. The grilled Cajun shrimp I ordered for an app was good. My wife's 8oz steak cooked right but again tastes like yup you guessed it Worcester sauce. I also will go back to try other things on the menu.

JR's is a good restaurant. The wait staff are very attentive. The food is very good. The steaks are juicy and made to perfection. I've attended several special occasions here. Birthdays, holidays, dates, and was never disappointed.
