Purposely passed a lot of BBQ joints to get to Pappy’s!! BBQ is excellent. Servings are on the large side. BBQ sauce is really great. We did the sausage sandwich and took home a BBQ pack for later. BBQ Bologna was EXCELLENT as well. They’re busy with the drive thru - but quick. Not a long wait. Not overly friendly but we came to eat - not socialize.Parking: Can pull off the side of the road. Absolutely amazing barbecue and sides. My go food place when driving from Alabama to Missouri. Delicious, from scratch cooking. My mouth is watering thinking about their food. Exceptional food.

Passing through on highway 45 & this is ALWAYS a stop for us, it’s something we plan around! Their ribs & pork bbq are top notch and honestly the best we’ve ever eaten anywhere around. And the wait staff are so kind every time. Very clean and professional. No wonder they’ve survived being in business all these years. You just can’t beat it. We’ll be back again and again.
