Killer breakfast. Didn't care for the community style table set-up, but the French toast and bacon were the best I've had at a breakfast joint in probably a couple years.
Best biscuits and gravy..huge portions...small... bachelor type setting.
Seems like a real good guy, whole place full of very friendly people. Try the sausage
I had a Western omelet and a biscuit. It was an omelet bigger than anywhere else I've ever had an omelet from, and it was packed full. The food was delicious and the service was fast and friendly.
Good amount of food, it was okay not the best but for the price it was excellent kinda of dirty in side exactly what you would expect in a home town cafe overall i would say excellent
Great food, good, friendly service.
Little place, kinda easy to miss so keep the gps on. Definitely worth the stop for a good country breakfast. Locally owned and operated, all freshly made food.
Has great food
Awesome place to grab breakfast or lunch for drivers. Across from the Loves. Great conversation and food, at a great price. Highly recommend.
Breakfast burrito was the best I've ever had!

I’m a truck driver, stopped at the Loves truck stop across the road from this restaurant. The food and service was top notch. I had breakfast there and am going back for lunch! Not too many down home places like this left out here. Be sure to support this one when you’re in the area..
GREAT food, HUGE portions, cheap prices, & AMQZING service! Open 6am-2pm every day but Weds unless there's an urgent matter requiring the owner be there. It can be hard to tell for SURE if they're open, but if its 6am-2pm, its WELL worth the stop! We WILL be back!
fantastic breakfast
We visited on a Sun for lunch. My wife loves breakfast for lunch and the Scenic Cafe offers breakfast all day. It was a one man show, perhaps it always is. Small space, but functional. You can give your order from your table to the cook/server/cashier behind the counter. He was focused on the job at hand, but could banter with the best of them as needed. The food was great! Home cooking and everything to order. Good sized portions and very well prepared. Don't expect fast, especially if there are several customers. This is a bit of a dive kind of place. It's clean enough, but not spotless. If you need spotless or fast, go to the Loves truck stop across the road.Wife ordered scrambled eggs, bacon, (she likes extra crisp), hash browns and toast. Bacon was 4 strips of long, thick cut bacon with great flavor. I suspect it normally comes crisp, so the extra crisp request was unnecessary. Hash browns were a nice portion and crisped to a golden brown while still moist on the inside. Eggs were properly cooked.I got the breakfast burrito and it was a size-able portion of various goodies with sausage, tomato, onion, bell pepper, cheese and more. I wasn't brave enough to attempt to pick this bad boy up and eat it that way, and don't even think about eating this on the run or you'll be wearing it! A nicely toasted flour tortilla wrapped it up. I knife and forked it's goodness and enjoyed every bite. Our only negative was a few sugar ants on the jam bottles on the table. Grossed my wife out, but I'm not as delicate. ;-) A little more cleaning at the end of the day wouldn't hurt.
Amazing home cooked food. Outstanding value. Go here, eat and share some laughs. Enjoy!!
