I took one bite of the crab Rangoon, and I must say that may have been, without exaggeration, the way I felt. It was the closest I could be to heaven. It is located close to the community, with several apts, and nice houses ? close by. It is only about 10 miles from the heart of tourism. This is of course our Famous Aquarium. The Moo Goo Gai Pan is a combination of both meat , and veggies ?. Their Famous Teriyaki Chicken is delicious as well. Please don't forget the Egg Drop Soup. “Amazing place. I visit often. I wish the area labled "octopus salad" was refilled faster. I watched the pan set with just juice and a few vegi slivers in it for an hr on several occasions and nobody refilled it. I didn't want to bother anybody and look impatient. They weren't busy and all the other food trays were full except it So i did without it while waiting. But It's the only issue i have because it usually sits empty 4 out of my 5 visits. I tried to ask someone but they didn't understand me evidently cause it sat empty for 30 more minutes and i had to leave. I don't know if i can order just that from a menu or i would order it for take out.“
“A very large selection at this buffet. The noodles are very good! Chinese servers and Mexican cooks, as most are these days. But! They had an extra Mexican section here that took advantage of that! Very nice. The grandkids liked the ice cream cones. I like the ones that have real ice cream buckets in the small freezer. It was a bit gritty textured, like the custard cones. I compensated with the tapioca pudding. Yummy!!! The best chinese buffet i have been to. The only reason i put a four on service was the waitress who never smiled or talked. Putting the bill on the table before i finished my first plate. Which i like to try a few little items at a time. She didn't check the drinks very well. But got 15 percent because that's our minimum unless someone is rude or incompetent. Otherwise it was a great time!“
“I was scared to get it by the look of the building but OMG am I glad I did. Not the typical smell for a Chinese restaurant….it smelled so amazing inside….i wanted to start eating the air!! “We've eaten at Formosa off and on for around thirty years. In that time, we've seen the quality of the food rise and dip.Today, the food was AMAZING. Go. Go now. Order the Wonton Soup. It was easily the best I've had anywhere in geological ages. Also, it was the right temperature that I could eat it when it arrived, instead of having to wait at least ten to fifteen minutes for it to cool down from lava hot - as seems usual for most Chinese restaurants. The eggroll was also surpassingly, surprisingly so perfect and delightful that I just ate it without sauce - and I have never done that before. Between the sheer size of the eggroll and the volume of the soup, I was close to full by the time the entree came out.My lunch entree was the Dragon Horse Chicken and the ginger was so potent that I thought at first that it might be too much - but then began to appreciate that it was the perfect "strong" amount.The hot mustard continues to be nearly dangerous levels of awesomely sinus opening. Like, you remember the first time you ever saw the predator take off its mask and its face opened up? Yeah, get too much of the hot mustard and you will LIVE THAT MOMENT.My only real complaint is that the basic fried rice continues to be as bland as a basic metaphor. Formosa, please consider a new recipe for your fried rice. It could be great. I believe in you.“

They were rated pretty well. 4 for a neighborhood Chinese is like a 5 plus. We don't have one in ours anymore, so this was a nice find.I tried to walk in and order but had to go to the drive up window to order. Hum, strange but whatever. Maybe do to covid. Safety. Who knows. Well, I ordered and had to park in the parking lot to wait for the food. It felt like a long wait. That was my only issue.Once I got home and opened the bag, everything I ordered was there, and the amount was huge. The taste was good. Nothing a little soy sauce couldn't fix. Hunan beef, General Tso, and some spring rolls. All was good, and there was plenty of leftovers.I would visit again.“
