El Rincón latino is an excellent hole in the wall kind of place with food that has a special touch. The menu ranges from pastas and American fare to Salvadoran/Honduran fare, including Pupusas. The pupusas, especially the ones with beans and cheese, and the Pupusas Revueltas are excellent. The quesa birria and carne asada are phenomenal. The beef soup has tender meat and flavorful broth. The Pastelitos de Carne Molida is very good with a great crunchy pastry. Food comes out fresh but a little slow. The service is amazing, and the owners are great. The music is top notch and makes one feel like on an island. This mom and pop restaurant feels very home like with patio seating and all types of karaoke. It is super family friendly and a must if around the Gatlinburg/Sevierville area.
