I arrived about 1:30, and they close at 3pm. The coffee I ordered was barely warm. The server said “we stop brewing after a certain time”. She offered to microwave my coffee.

I really really wanted to like Mayfly, I have been wanting to go for weeks and was finally able to go this weekend - left disappointed. My girlfriend and I got a hot tea and an iced vanilla latte, both lacked flavor. We sat at three different seats, both inside and out, because we were unable to find a seat that was not dirty and or had crumbs all over them. I can understand having dirty tables or seats if they were busy or short handed but the cafe was not busy when we were there. The customer service also lacked, the staff was not friendly.

Y’all- this is the sweetest little coffee shop. My only issue is that they close pretty early! It’s worth planning my time around, though.I love their breakfasts- I get the Taft on an everything bagel. They make a lovely flat white, they’ve got yummy iced lattes, their espresso pulls are sweet. I went in crying yesterday and one of the baristas gave me a cookie because they recognize how often I’m there and I’ve been going through it, lol! They are literally the sweetest staff, polite, fast service, good seating options in a really cute spot. I can’t recommend them enough. ?
Parking: Parking in front of store; sometimes runs out, but more parking at shops next door.
Mayfly’s coffee exceeded my expectations. I had 2 double espressos and both were so balanced and perfectly extracted which blew me away with it being a medium-dark roast. Enjoyed my Mabbit Springs burrito (egg, spinach, feta), & ended with a 12 oz latte that we well steamed, so delicious.

Tucked away in a cozy spot downtown. Friendly service and iced mocha drink was great on a hot afternoon and got cinnamon rolls for takeaway. Will visit again soon.
