The Catfish House Reviews
Visited on a Tuesday evening, the restaurant was not at all busy. Two of the steaks were undercooked. The catfish took 20 minutes longer than the rest of the food to make it to the table. The Catfish House was a go-to spot for delicious catfish and southern sides at reasonable prices. The staff was great and the food was flavorful. Customers enjoyed a 2 PC fish dinner with hush puppies, loaded baked potato, white beans, and creamy coleslaw. The chow chow relish was tasty to top off the meal. The Catfish House offered lots of options on the kids menu with coloring sheets and crayons. There was lots of open area around tables for wheelchair placement. It was a fun place to go, feeling like a large older inn's dining room with many regulars. The service and food were great, though orders did not come quickly. The owners retired and the Catfish House was sadly missed. Customers were promptly seated on Easter Sunday, and food was served hot and very good. The fillets were somewhat small, so ordering up was recommended for catfish lovers. Fried okra and white beans were delicious. They could serve large parties easily.
