I think the new ownership is good for red door, it was improved when I ate there recently. The chicken from my General Tso’s and my roommate’s orange chicken was less overcooked and chewy, and I didn’t encounter any bites of chicken that had gristle or inedible pieces. I usually got curry chicken because it was not breaded or fried chicken but thin strips, and cooked for a while in sauce (and perhaps velveted? Quaint little buffet. Not too many selections but just enough. Fantastic service. Great experience.
i’ve been going to this restaurant since I was a kid & I am 27 now. it’s been a pretty decent chinese buffet, especially to be in a very small town. there are new owners, cousins of the previous owners. I have seen a bunch of negatively about & towards them. they have a lot of newer items, give them some time to work some kinks out, this is her first time running a business! every time I have been the food is very fresh and delicious!
