We ate here yesterday afternoon. We ordered the trio and appetizers. It took 3 times to get my order correct. It was cold and terrible. Our server was MIA until time to pay. They are very poor guest service people. We complained. She did offer me a different side. But everything else was so bad we didn't want another one. And we told her that. We love Rustic River Restaurant! Nathan is a 5 star server and always takes the best care of my family! The owners obviously care about their restaurant because every detail is perfection! We look forward to coming back to eat every single time. A few of our favorites: PIZZA! (Their meat pizza is delicious!), prime rib night is YUM! And please treat yourself with a slice of their delicious cheesecake!
I will no longer be able to come back, and I will have to share with others the values being promoted here. I feel the quality of food here is ok, but as a Christian I cannot support celebrating witchcraft. Scripture is clear: “Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.” (Ephesians 5:11).

Rustic River Restaurant offers excellent food with a rustic river view, perfect for families and those with pets. The ribeye steak is cooked to perfection, and the espresso martini is delicious. The hamburger and fries have received praise as possibly the best ever tasted, and the brownie is baked perfectly. Under new management, the care for customers and quality of the food is evident. A laid-back country atmosphere with great music and a spacious interior makes it a place where guests can enjoy views of people kayaking in the river. The service is quick, and the fajita fries are an excellent appetizer.

Customers have enjoyed the well-prepared meals, such as the Avocado salad and the fried shrimp platter, as well as the full bar with well-made and large-portioned drinks. The restaurant is also dog-friendly, with seating available on the back porch overlooking the calm Powell River.
While one customer experienced an issue with the onion rings, the restaurant's staff was accommodating and removed the unsatisfactory item. Overall, the Rustic River Restaurant is a place that many look forward to returning to again, thanks to its excellent food, great service, and beautiful setting.
