“I ate there again yesterday… wasn’t sure what I wanted for lunch. So I went with the simple 3 taco place with rice and beans. The description said there were going to be 3 small tacos. Small…Maybe but they were packed full I got the ground beef, I was just looking for something to tide me over till I could get home and prepare for dinner. Wow…I left full. Felt I get a big bang for my buck. I was so impressed by the cook. It truly was the best to a I have ever had at any Mexican restaurant I had ever been. To make something so simple as a taco taste so delicious and not only that I could tell the cook had taken great pride in the presentation of the plate he was going to sent out. This comes from someone that has Managed restaurants for a living. I was so impressed by the flavor and care take with the food which was presented to me. Of Corse not only did I tip my server but I had to ask her if the cook could find a moment to speak with me. He was able and did. I had to have the opportunity to tell him how delicious the meal was and how it had brightened my day. I tipped him a $5.00 bill and told him to keep up the good work. It was the first time in my life I was impressed enough to tip a cook. It was so delicious, I just had to let him know how much I enjoyed his meal and thank him. They have a very good employee in him and I hope he is there a long time. So I can expect the same when I go back. I had been several times before and the food has always been in my opinion tasty and of high quality.”

“First thing it's not in Maria's Mexican restaurant like it shows on Google .it's In the same plaza .we went back to Rivals again because it was so great the first time and again everything was great .no complaints.if anyone is in the area and want something good .you can't go wrong with anything on the menu .love this place ❤️”

Parking: Large parking area and if for some odd reason you can't park directly in front of Higgs you can always park in front of the old Fred's building which is now an awesome fun large consignment shop.

“I love the Chow Wagon. Great Service. We live in Illinois but stop by there often visiting our daughter in Jackson Tn. The burgers and fries are perfect and the mint chocolate chip milkshake is the best milkshake I’ve ever had. If you’re going through Milan stop here you won’t regret it.”

“Huge menu, good service provided by jovial people in a clean, authentic Mexican atmosphere. I had the Fiesta Dinner and everything on the entire plate was terrifically made. Even the stuffed pepper was exquisite. Perfect pop on the outside melty goodness on the inside. Beef products were mildly seasoned and a good selection of salad items was provided. Shredded chicken was tender and well spied and the rice was less spicy than most but still held a good flavor and both the soft, hard, flour and corn tortillas were steamed and served nicely.”

“For the small town of Milan Tennessee this was an excellent buffet. I got all the seafood I wanted and this was a lunch.Apparently they have crab legs on the supper meal. I suggest this as a great lunch stop.”
