We had a great distillery visit here. I had seen their whiskey in the liquor store but never tried it until I had a tasting at this really cool off the beaten path distillery. Now that my trip is over I have made sure we have a bottle in the house.
The tour is excellent. Jaquelyn was a great tour guide. I recommend visiting if you ever get the chance. The tasting at the end was really nice. Also, the gift shop and bottle room have everything you could ever want.
We have been on many distillery tours and loved this one. The location was incredible (beautiful scenery), the history very interesting, tour guide and staff were knowledgeable and friendly, the tasting was great. Would highly recommend going!
My wife and I visited Jacqueline was our tour guide amazing lady we had to buy alcohol which was horrible but we drank it anyway and they had a dog toy so we got it for our Boston. It’s her favorite toy now. Thanks. Awesome tour.
Small distillary, but folks were very knowledgeable about their product. Appreciated the history behind the whiskey even if the official tour was unavailable.
No tours, plant down and reopen insight... maybe they could put that on their website or crappy phone message before you leave on a trip... would have given them zero stars if that would have been an option
Beautiful property, wonderful tour guide, awesome staff and fantastic tasting experience. Very unique tasting of all 5 Bottled in Bond whisky’s. Dickel is my favorite distillery!
I learned about George Dickel via their support of The Animal League of Birmingham and wanted to learn more about the brand. Scheduling the tour online was quick and easy. We had a fabulous guide who has lived in the area since he was a child and actually watched the distillery be built. He did an amazing job explaining the history, the distillation process, singing the praises of Distiller Nicole Austin (one smart lady!), and going over each product during the tasting. We couldn’t have had a better experience!
We had a private tour with Bobby and David! Can’t recommend this distillery and the folks there! By far the best tour and bourbon we tasted over a week!
Absolutely beautiful setting, with a very nice staff running it. Plenty of Dickel to purchase in the gift shop. A must if you are in the area.

We had a really good tour guide who made it fun. It was a short tour but for the price it wasn't bad being we got to taste some bourbon.
I was lucky enough to get a solo tour of the distillery. Bobby was the guide, and did a great job! I don’t think there’s anything about that place that he doesn’t know. Fun conversation throughout. Enjoyed it!
Had a great tour guide with Larry at this small craft distillery. Much better experience and better tasting option than at the bigger mass production distilleries. Definitely will be back!
I did my “rehearsal dinner” for my wedding here during their Front Porch Fridays in June of 2024. We chose to do this because we are from out of town and we wanted our friends/close family members to experience something unique and fun in Tennessee. There was a live band, food trucks, and complimentary cocktails with each ticket purchased. The staff was super friendly, happy and accommodating. Not only that but it was such a beautiful day and the scenery is amazing! From what I remember, they do Front Porch Fridays once a month in the summer. I highly recommend they increase this to every weekend !! It was such a blast and so special. Thanks again to all the staff !
Tour guide was great, history was interesting and some of the best whiskey we’ve tasted! Highly recommend that you go find this place.
