Great tour (Larry), friendly staff and an overall great experience.
It was a great tour, the young fellow was a fantastic. Learing the history and tasting the various whiskeys was a great experience. Would definitely recommend.
Nice people
If you're into distilleries, this is a great place to visit. No where near the crowds of Jack Daniels and only about 30 minutes away. It's easy to hit both on a trip.
Jake was a fantastic tour guide. My fiancé and I had a great time. We have been to a lot of different whiskey and bourbon distilleries, and this one still has the local small town feel to it that the others are missing.
The only downfall is you cannot tip by card so please bring cash with you to tip your tour guide. They deserve it!
We had a great time with Larry our guide who told us about George Dickel/Cascade Hollow. Larry is so knowledgeable. We learned the company history. We learned about the distillation process. And we enjoyed the tastings that we had. We would recommend a tour very highly.
I recently took my husband to Cascade Hollow Distilling Company for a tour and whiskey tasting since he’s a huge fan of George Dickel Whisky, and it was an incredible experience! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how clean and beautifully kept the distillery is—absolutely gorgeous. Every staff member we met was warm and welcoming, which immediately set the tone for the day.
Our tour guide was both funny and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole experience engaging while teaching us so much about the history and process behind their whiskey. The tasting itself was held in a separate room that was quiet, thoughtfully set up, and just perfect for savoring the experience.
We had a wonderful time and can’t wait to come back on our next trip to Tennessee. Highly recommend visiting if you’re in the area!
George Dickel my favorite Whisky
My family and I took the single barrel experience tour and had a great time.
Our guide was very knowledgeable and had an answer to all of our questions. The tasting was also a good time, and we got to take home a bottle of our favorites!
Bobby was the best tour guide ever!

Staff were very friendly. The tour was okay, it felt like a tour of an abandoned distillery rather than an active distillery. This is largely because they aren’t actively producing any whiskey as of today, August 28th, 2025 in the distillery on site. Still a good experience and tasting room was nice.
Such a quaint place with a beautiful story of American history. Bobby gave us a tour and walked us through the tasting. We loved this place, recommend stopping buy if your in town.
Very upset to find liquor store down the road selling the foundation recipe bottle for 8 dollars cheaper than the gift shop of the distillery. Wild and disappointing for you guys to gouge customers to who seek you out.
Had a nice one-on-one tour with Jake at the facility. The grounds are very nice and the distillery is well laid-out. The tour itself was informative and Jake did a good job at going through the process and highlighting what made their whiskey unique. Flight at the end was nice as well.
Nice place to visit and tour. Bobby was our tour guide and he was great! Pay for the premium Tasting room experience, and it is definitely worth the extra $$.
