Love eating local when traveling! This quaint little place did not disappoint! Chicken salad was perfect and my husband gives two thumbs up for the hotdogs, especially the chili. Friendly counter service with a wonderful outdoor covered patio.
Easy on/off the interstate.

I found a taste of heaven when I found this gem. The owner is amazing. The bread is fresh and homemade in her coney sauce is to die for.!! I first I was able to eat a foot-long, which are amazing but now I can only eat a regular however you have to try a foot long with coney sauce. ❤️🥰✨Let’s not forget the homemade pies and cakes! Yummy!!

I had never been here but had heard about it so I decided to stop and get my mom and I a sandwich.. When I went to pay for 2 sandwiches and 1 order of fries, the lady said $34..!!! I almost got choked.. I paid for the food and came home. The sandwiches were AWESOME!!! They were huge and fed us for 2 days..

Wow - this place is everything! The food is amazing!!! The BBQ was fantastic. The desserts are so good. And the homemade rolls are amazing - soft and delicious inside with a wonderful crust on the outside. And the service was the cherry on top - friendly and kind. Soooooo good.

Ate the special. Roast beef, mashed taters, green beans, 2 rolls. Closest meal to a meat and 3 as you can get locally. Better try it out. Bout forgot- pie too !!

Fantastic eatery with lots of charm, wonderful service and great food. The ribeye burger hit the spot and there were enough menu choices that ALL of my picky kids found something they liked!

The food is always delicious Everytime we go, well worth the money which is not bad at all considering the HUGE portion you get. The scenery is beautiful, there is a covered patio and a open patio with a bathroom. We HIGHLY recommend Whistle Stop ..... Also tried their chocolate pie which is he made btw ..... Rich and smooth with home whip cream so good lol

I've been here twice now . Great sandwiches and deli meat. However upon inspection of my receipt after leaving the store. I noticed that the older lady had applied a $7 tip without asking me. (She took the card machine behind the counter to do the transaction) I would have willingly giving the tip myself. But , not being given the option with MY own money kinda rubbed me the wrong way tbh. Not sure if I'd go back now which sucks because the food is amazing.

I remember when this place popped up when I was a younger. The food is always delicious.
