Cracker Barrel Reviews
You usually get fresh , good food. I ate there late and it wasn’t as good.
At your White House, TN restaurant, our experience was not as good as we had hoped. There were very few customers when we arrived and we were seated immediately which was good. However, no one came to our table while customers seated after us were being attended to which was not good. Cracker Barrel Old Country Store provides a mix of experiences. While the food is generally tasty, with menu items like Honey Bacon Chicken, the service and atmosphere can sometimes be inconsistent. Some customers have mentioned issues with temperature, cleanliness, and the attentiveness of staff, especially during busy times. Despite this, the restaurant offers good wheelchair accessibility with ample parking and ramps. The warm, rustic atmosphere with old-fashioned decor creates a comfortable environment. The menu features classic Southern comfort food, including biscuits, meatloaf, and chicken and dumplings. Portions are usually good, though some have noticed they are slightly smaller for the same price, and on occasion, dishes haven't been as hot or flavorful as expected. The country store adds a nice touch, offering unique gifts and snacks. Overall, it’s a decent place for a no-frills meal, but the experience can vary. The restaurant is generally kid-friendly, with a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and options like chicken tenders, macaroni and cheese, and pancakes. A small play area near the entrance helps keep children entertained while waiting, though peak times can be noisy.
