“We are from New Orleans, this was our first time eating here. We come to this area every few months for medical reasons. We don’t have one close to us. Many people recommended it and it did not disappoint. We enjoyed everything we had. So good! 🙂“

Went here yesterday after a friend hyped it up—and she wasn’t wrong. The tacos were insanely flavorful, the ingredients tasted super fresh, and the vibe inside was clean and chill. I got a mix of steak and shrimp, and that sauce? Next level. 🔥
Also gotta say, this place is walking distance, and after wrapping up a quick car drop-off for NOVA (the car-sharing platform I partner with), it was the perfect post-hustle bite. Efficient day + great food = win.

“We love Little Rey! Their tacos, salads, queso and ice cream are top notch! All good fresh ingredients that make you feel good. Food comes out fast and the staff is always very friendly and helpful! We are regulars with our granddaughter and the staff, especially Juan, always makes sure we are taken care of. Love the atmosphere under the big trees, too!“

“Nice, quick outdoor patio spot with a relaxed vibe. Orders are placed through a kiosk, which made things simple and fast. The tacos were delicious, and I definitely want to come back on a night off to try the drinks they looked amazing. The music videos playing added a fun atmosphere, not sure how often they do that, but it gave the place some extra energy. Overall, a great casual spot I’d recommend and revisit.“

“This isn’t your average gas station tacos. Everything I’ve tried has been delicious. I recommend trying your order as a quesadilla, which is about the same amount of food as 2 tacos. Be careful with their red salsa, it definitely packs a punch of spicy.“

“I like coming by occasionally to get tacos and/or a quesadilla. Quick service and yummy food. I’m also a fan of the green sauce they provide with orders. You can call ahead to place a pick-up order, usually ready in 10-15 min. Would recommend!“

“For $1 tacos, you cannot beat the flavor and price. These are legitimate tacos! I am giving it 4 stars because sometimes there is plenty of meat in the tacos and sometimes there is very little.
They also only have a spicy sauce, no mild sauces although I do appreciate that they always have them on the side as well as the lime.
Service is getting 4 stars because one younger lady that works there is super nice and sweet and another older lady that works there is rude. There are no posted prices and I believe sometimes she up charges or purposely does not tell you how much the items are you are ordering. They do not offer itemized receipts.
Atmosphere gets a 3 because the truck is located in a gas station parking lot and it's not on the best side of town. The parking situation is whatever spaces or pumps are open when you arrive. If I park at a pump I make sure to get gas or buy something from their store. My other quarrel is that sometimes the orders can take a while and they don't have any chairs where you can just sit and wait so you have to sit in your car with the window cracked, letting all the cold air out, while you wait for your number to be called or stand outside in the heat.
I will say it again though, for $1 you can it beat these tacos. I eat here at least 2x a week.“

“A good amount of food for the price point. We ordered 10 tacos - 2 birria, 2 pollo, 4 fajita, 2 pastor and combo torta el pastor. Service was slower than expected because it was a one man show: cashier was also the chef. We decided to eat in person to wait out the traffic and the ambiance was nice because of the recently cool weather. Not the best tacos I've had but a decent place to fill up!“

“I’ve have been watching her TikTok page since last year and I wasn’t able to make it to her last year when I was here in Houston. But I got a chance to go and I was definitely not disappointed at all. The food was so good I sat in my car eating and I went back and ordered more. Food was amazing I will be back again.“
