Made my first visit to Donut Time this morning. it definitely will not be the last. The appearance/ambience were pretty much the same as most other donut shops and the place seemed very clean. The service was very friendly, but what will bring me back are the donuts. We tried a regular glazed, chocolate iced, blueberry cake and a kolache. All were excellent. I love blueberry cake donuts and this was as good as any I ever had. Very light for a cake donut, great blueberry taste and a delicate icing that accented the donut perfectly. The chocolate iced was wonderful as well. The donut was light and the chocolate icing had a great chocolate taste that did not overpower the donut. The regular glazed donut was light as well, pillowy and amazing. The glaze was very good, not too sweet and just the right amount. The kolache was excellent as well. Our granddaughters loved them too, will definitely be back our next trip.

Their donuts and cinnamon rolls are really great! I just like the jelly filled donuts, and this visit, I just really felt like they skimped on the jelly filling. Otherwise I would give them 5 stars.

The lady behind the counter was super enthusiastic as soon as we entered. We were cheerfully greeted with a "good morning!!" And then she asked about our day! In our going on 3 weeks in Abilene I've gotta say it's the first time someones been THAT cheerful. As a super early morning person myself- this definitely made my heart happy .The selection was not huge but let me tell you - the consistency, texture, taste, and freshness of the donuts we tried was ON POINT. The hubs got an Apple fritter. I went with the most delish cinnamon twist I've ever consumed and a chocolate on chocolate round I saved for my dessert after din din. It was still fresh and delish. Keep supporting local businesses and get yourself a freshy treat here. (Or grab some for your staff/kids preschool/ senior center- etc)

Y'all when I tell you these donuts are so delicious and fluffy. Donut holes could've used a bit more glaze but overall delicious. Blueberry cake donuts are my favorite!

I read website rushed over there with 20 minutes to spare & they were closed. Please update your hours when you decide to close early. 2 very disappointed grandkids here!!:-(

Best donuts, good "pigs", burritos are salty and crumbly but they are not a burrito place so I should have known better than to order that.

soooooo goooood!! so soft, so fluffy, so fresh not baked. and they last...we left our hotel and happened apon this family run donut place it waa breakfast and snacks on our drive home to austin. seriously, best donut i have had in years. wish i had found them sooner. support local ! wish i had tried the biscuits ...
