Great staff. Everything is as expected at this chain. Breakfasts are variable - one day I had an omelette that was small and had onions that seemed to have been on the grill for a long time (not at all fresh) and large chunks of old sausage not fully heated through; a couple of days later, my made to order omelette was twice the size, fresh and delicious (asked for uncooked onions and other veggies with cheese). They just updated the rooms and made them feel like you’re staying in a hospital. They used to be so cozy and now they’re plain and just don’t feel cozy at all. Lights are brighter and they have wood floors so it echoes. Wish they would’ve kept the old style rooms because they were much more homey feeling.

The star of the stay was the host at breakfast. She had the chef make a custom omelette for me(Indian Style) so happy about it. Her smile and radiance made our day! God Bless her!!

I don't know how this hotel has any good reviews. The rooms are like cheap run down motel rooms but they charge 4 star hotel prices. The rooms smell damp and like old cigarette smoke. The first room was so bad I had to ask to switch rooms because our baby was coughing. The second was still bad but we were too tired to find another hotel. They also didn't honor the price we had reserved the room for and when the lady at the front desk repeatedly tried to contact the manager, she wasn't able to get hold of anyone. Do not stay here.

I was not planning on stopping in Abilene, but on my way home, I found myself to be very tired. Therefore, I decided to stay the night at this hotel. Everyone that I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell that everyone genuinely wanted to help and be of service. The hotel was very clean. My room was very clean, but did smell a little musty. I suspect no one had been in that room for a while, which caused it to smell this way. It was no big deal and after running the AC for a couple of hours, that issue was also resolved. The next morning the breakfast staff was also very eager to please. The food area was clean. The service was prompt and everything tasted good. The eggs were perfectly cooked which was nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend this hotel to others who are passing through Abilene. I would certainly stay there again.

Bathrooms were uncomfortably warm the entire stay because they aren't ventilated (no ac). It would be nice to know there is no tub before booking (for kids). Room was what I expected, nice. Staff was friendly. Got woke up at 445am by the police banging on the room next door (lasted about an hour). That's not the hotels fault but perhaps the location isn't what I thought. This is Abilene I reckon....
