I was not planning on stopping in Abilene, but on my way home, I found myself to be very tired. Therefore, I decided to stay the night at this hotel. Everyone that I spoke to was friendly and knowledgeable. You could tell that everyone genuinely wanted to help and be of service. The hotel was very clean. Bathrooms were uncomfortably warm the entire stay because they aren't ventilated (no ac). It would be nice to know there is no tub before booking (for kids). Room was what I expected, nice. Staff was friendly. Got woke up at 445am by the police banging on the room next door (lasted about an hour). That's not the hotels fault but perhaps the location isn't what I thought. This is Abilene I reckon....

They just updated the rooms and made them feel like you’re staying in a hospital. They used to be so cozy and now they’re plain and just don’t feel cozy at all. Lights are brighter and they have wood floors so it echoes. Wish they would’ve kept the old style rooms because they were much more homey feeling.
