Wife's steak was very good, mine mostly grizzle with a large vein running through, the flavor was good though. Wife had a loaded baked potato that made me a little jealous because I had the new potatoes that were described to me as cowboy potatoes (they were cowboy potatoes as much as scrambled eggs with cheese on top is an omelet). The ribs I ordered on the side were phenomenal and falling off of the bone.
The food was amazing as always. However, there was no cornbread provided. We went for a late evening dinner but still 2 hours before close. At the 1 hour mark they started locking the doors and we felt the wait staff rushed us through our meal.
Amazing barbecue spot where all the meat is prepared early in the day, so make sure you arrive before everything sells out. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and you can really feel the family spirit behind the place. We even happened to catch a live acoustic performance, which made the experience even better. Every staff member is attentive and always checks to make sure you’re taken care of. Highly recommended!
