II dropped by a coupla days ago. It is now closed. "Temporarily" I was told. Until when? Until they can find another chef, as the elder chef fell and broke some ribs. How long will that be? Who knows?

I'm so sad that they've closed. Love the Indian food

I ate at Let's Eat for the first time some while ago this year. It's located in the front of Emerald Inn Expo, 840 HWY 80 East, on the north side of the HWY. The only sign for Let's Eat is on the east front of the motel, facing south toward the highway, so it's easy to miss. It would get more business if it had a prominent sign near the roadway. If you're heading west and see Mustang Donuts on your right, you have already passed Let's Eat. The dining room of Let's Eat was being renovated, so I went into the motel lobby and ordered. Most of their orders were takeout and could be delivered by any of the home-delivery services in Abilene. The menu is posted on Google Maps and Yelp. Cooking is done after you order. I had the Paneer Tacos (3 tacos) for $7.58 with tax. Indian platters run $12 and up, which I would rate as $$ (moderate price). My food was freshly made and tasty, different food than is typical in Abilene and worth the the price. Might want to familiarize yourself with the names of Indian-subcontinent cuisine before you order. Ambiance, because of the remodeling, was not great, but my food was very good

After 1st time being served frozen & ready-made curry we gave the another chance to this restaurant almost after 2 months but the 2nd time also with same consistency store bought samosa, naan and bland curry was served..1 star only for the front desk & bar employees who work hard but cooking department(if any) need better chef who can cook instead of serving stale food.

Restaurant is in Emerald Inn Motel. Door was locked to restaurant and had to enter through motel lobby. Food took longer than expected. Ordered the Fish Fry but was told it was a 'fishy' fish. Restaurant seemed run down. It's definitely not a place I would take friends or recommend. Take your chances.

Very weird. Went there for lunch today, NOT! We walked out. Not a single person in sight. The place was full of mattresses. There was a guy out front, who didn't say a word. Then he came in and didn't say a word.

Its the best indian restaurant in town and there is two. The atmosphere is an open area dining with big windows. We will be going back again!

I ate at Let's Eat for the first time today. It's located in the front of Emerald Inn Expo, 840 HWY 80 East, on the north side of the HWY. The motel will likely have a different name when remodeling is complete. The only sign for Let's Eat is on the east front of the motel, facing south toward the highway, so it's easy to miss. "Let's Eat" is located inside the old Thunderbird Lodge which has been remodeled. The rooms are completely renovated and the restaurant is divine. There isn't one thing on the menu that I do not like. Honestly, I had not tried Indian food and it is now one of my favorite things to eat. The Butter Chicken and Samosa are delicious (these are two new items to me) However, the chicken, Philly steak sandwich, the steak, the hamburger and the fish and chips and french fries are SO very good and I will be back every week for more. Not sure what the special seasoning is on the fries but I would buy a case of it if I could. I am looking forward to introducing this restaurant to my family and friends.

Just had my first experience with Indian food, and I must say.... Wow! Even with them dealing with remodeling, they were on top of their game. Jamie was awesome. Very knowledgeable and helpful, loved her cheer and pep. Our cook was on point, thank you Naveen. Can't wait to try all the foods you have to offer.

After I heard about a new indian restaurant in town I had to try it. I'm so glad I did and brought it home for superbowl! The food was very authentic and well portioned. Some of the dishes we had were a lamb curry which was very tender, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, paneer tikka masala, gulab jaman for dessert was yum yum, plus had sides of somosa and spring roll which my wife loved. All the curries were great and accommodated specific spices levels for each dish. We also tried the beef tacos and chicken tacos... soooooo good!!
