“Visited our military family member and took them out to eat Thanksgiving dinner. We expected to wait to get in and while it was busy they were well staffed and got our group of six in right away. All the employees were cheerful and walking quickly doing their jobs. Our service was great and the food was better than I remembered. We will be going back when we visit them for Christmas.“

“My wife and I dined at Abilene's Cracker Barrel this past Tuesday (16 December) around 7:30 p.m. Our server, Cami C., was attentive to us early on, however after taking our order, we saw that she was pulled to help more with the Door Dash and other pick-up orders. We didn't understand that, but we know that sales are sales $$$. Anyway, the wait for the food was a bit long, however when it was brought it was very hot and not the "under the lamp" hot. Cami apologized for that wait. The food was delicious and filling. Cami did apologize again when she brought the bill. Overall, good time and good service. I do recommend Cracker Barrel for dinner (or supper) and highly suggest going during "Early Bird"-5:30--6:30 p.m. time.“

“We live out of town but frequently travel to Abilene, and honestly, we have no idea why we hadn’t tried Jay’s before now. We love good BBQ, and what we found at Jay’s was nothing short of phenomenal. Hands down, this is some of the best BBQ we’ve ever had. The brisket and OG sausage weren’t just delicious—they were an experience. Every bite was packed with incredible flavor, and we can’t wait to come back again and again!“
