Spanky’s in Abilene is the definition of a good ol’ neighborhood dive. Super chill vibe, friendly folks from all walks of life, and the kind of place where the bartenders actually remember your name. Cheap drinks, fun crowd, and a come-as-you-are attitude. If you’re into laid-back spots with personality, Spanky’s won’t disappoint.

Everything about this place is amazing. The bartenders recognize you and remember your drink orders after just a couple of times. The atmosphere is always amazing. And, every Saturday night, they have karaoke! The best part about this bar for me personally. Is that I feel completely comfortable to be my authentic self. As part of Abilene's LGBTQ+ community, this bar has been nothing but a welcoming environment for me.
