Lin was a fantastic server. The food was delicious and we can’t wait to return. Worth every penny.

We’ve been to Brentwood’s a few times in the past and enjoyed it. Though It’s always been pricey for what you get in my opinion. Decided to try it again last weekend. When we arrived, we were told they ‘lost’ our reservation, even after I showed the confirmation on my phone. They said we should try to find a seat at the bar and could have dinner there. We had a 95 year old with us and bar stools are a challenge for her but we made the most of it. Dinner was ok, not great. Service was pretty bad. 95 y/o ordered a glass of wine, which apparently they were out of and they subbed a much more expensive wine without telling us. (We found out when the bill came). No apology, just “yea, we’re out of that wine so we gave you a different wine”. We had to ask numerous times for them to take our food order and to get the check. We felt pretty ignored. To be fair, they were a bit busy but not slammed. Poor attitude from the bartenders didn’t help. Won’t be going back.

Service was superb. Best crab cakes I've eaten, and I've lived near the Chesapeake Bay--where we pride ourselves on our crab cakes-- much of my life. The atmosphere was very pleasant; a nice place to meet with family and friends and catch up. It wasn't loud at all. You don't feel like you have to shout to be heard. Finally, the value of what you get for what you pay is a nice surprise as well.

Country Club elegance - quite refined decor - parking lot filled with luxury cars. Food and service excellent.

I absolutely love this place, but today we did not have a good experience. We came in at 5:15 pm to catch the happy hour and the host (maybe even a FOH manager?) wearing the teal blue shirt was very rude. When we entered the restaurant we walked in and asked to be seated at the bar. She pointed towards the bar and told us to go find our own seats. Once we did, she came over and told us that these seats were reserved and we can’t sit here. Not sure how we were to know that? She didn’t offer to sit us somewhere else or explain we have to sit in a seat at the bar, so I asked her if we should just leave and she said “ok” and walked off. This is completely unacceptable for a host. Again, we normally have an amazing experience here. The food is always great and bartenders do a great job, but this left a poor taste in my mouth.

This place is a real puzzle to me. They clearly appear to try and duplicate the Houston's experience. The menu, the serving style, the same “rules” on and on. The difference is they are not busy, at least the times we have been, which have been quite a few. Hard to believe the name alone makes such a difference. Another similarity is the prices.(pricey) But good service, food good and unfortunately (for them) not busy.

It's 100% exactly like the original Houston's that was in this “exact location” starting as way back as around 1985 or 1986, but with a bit smaller Menu! The ribs are identical, the chicken crispers are identical, the five Nut brownie is identical, the cheese foccacia bread is identical- it's a carbon copy- yet it's not Owned by Houston's. I guess they bought the recipes. The current chef worked At this exact location (previously Houston's) chef) for well over 10 years. I recommend a reservation on “open table” to eliminate wait time!!

I have lived a long time, and I don't think I have ever been to a nicer classier restaurant. The waitress was superb and very attentive. The manager was very nice. He came to our table and noticed I was cold and turned the a/c warmer. The salad I got was excellent and full of surprises with each bite. I highly recommend this restaurant to any and everyone.

The service from everyone (hostess, bartender, bar manager, waitress and manager) was exceptional. Without a doubt the best service I've had anywhere in the metroplex. And the food was phenomenal, too...apps, dinner and deserts!!!

Had a great dinner with a good friend. Food was delicious, and the banana cream pie was the absolute best I have ever had!! Our server was incredible, such a bright spirit and made sure we loved all our choices. Will for sure be back!

Our first time to try Brentwood. We had the nigiri along with the Hawaiian steak and Cisco salad. The food was amazing some of the best we've ever had. The service was great nothing short of excellent.

Brentwood food has gotten better with more menu options. Still a little light on the entrees. Would be great to see a pasta dish or tacos or something else. Also on the appetizer side-why no soups offered for dinner? The server was great but a little too chatty and our appetizer was out late. Nicole the manager came over and apologized and actually took care of it for us so we appreciate the service.

Restaurant was not busy but server seated us at a table at the entire back of the restaurant. Plenty of tables in main dining area. Server was very nice. We had appetizer but then salads and main course appeared at same time. This has happened before. Bigger issue is that there is never a response to my feedback. Would not happen at Hillstone, I'l bracco etc

Ribs were very dry - over cooked? old? normally they are excellent. Hawaiian steak again just ok when normally very good: Spinach dip and Limoncello's excellent. Overall this was the worst meal here ever: For $150 expected better - did they lose their recipe to deliver outstanding food? or just an off night?

On time for our reservation. Did not appreciate being told at seating that we were limited to 1 hour & 15 minutes at our table. Food seemed pre-prepared. Service was rushed probably to accommodate their overbooking of tables. Will not return.
