Exceptional staff! Very respectful at every time we come to this location. The new mac and cheese is the DIGGITY BOMB! SO SO GOOD!
The manager Chris Roberts is very disrespectful and rude! I received a $5 gift card from my job and tried to place an order through the mobile app, which registered the $5 balance. The full meal balance was 8.54. The mobile app wouldn’t let me add 2 payment methods. So i figured just go inside and it’ll be an easy thing. BOY WAS I WRONG! I showed the first attendant the mobile app and explained the situation. She tried to run it through and was getting an error saying the card balance was 0. We swiped it a few more times and got the same message. She called her manager Chris Roberts over and asked for assistance. Not once did the manager ask the attendant what was going on. He just barked at her to go to another machine because the line was getting long. So we went to another machine and received the same error. Finally after waiting til the line went down, the manager Chris finally came over to help. I explained what happened, and even showed him the mobile app that shows the $5 balance. He then waves me off and says “you’ll just have to call the corporate number.” I ask him (confused) why does the mobile app register the gift card, but your machine doesn’t. He rolled his eyes at me and said “I don’t know. There’s nothing I can do, you’ll just have to call the number” So i ask to speak to a manager (before I knew he was the manager) and he rolled his eyes again! saying that’s he’s the manager and there’s nothing he can do. I was heated! I was just going to go home. Something told me to stop at the chick fil a closer to my house off frankford. When i walked in, The manager of that store was already at the register. So I explained to him what happened with Chris Roberts, and showed him the mobile order. I wish i had gotten his name! The manager from the frankford location was so nice and sweet. He apologized for how Chris Roberts acted (not even knowing him!) and proceeded to take my order. When I handed over my debit card to pay for the remainder of the balance, He told me it wasn’t necessary, and that I would actually receive my meal free of charge. He said that was something Chris Roberts was able to do on his end as well, and didn’t know why he didn’t. I will NEVER go back to the location off belt line. I felt SO disrespected! Thank you to the manager at the Frankford location for remembering that Chick Fil A strives for amazing customer service!
