“Joanne is so incredible at her craft. She actually made the donuts AND the cake for our wedding. We had a tasting with her and ended up choosing the coconut chiffon cake with passionfruit. It was a punch of flavor. She used Italian buttercream for the cake, which meant the icing was light and not too sweet. We asked her for a cake that looked like oil painted flowers in our colors and she delivered to the tee. The donuts were also incredible and admittedly she has kind of ruined donuts from other places for us. My now husband is obsessed with their apple fritters and so are all of our wedding guests.“

Second time trying this place out via Uber Eats. The first time I tried this place out was about six months ago also via Uber Eats. (See my previous review below.) Last time a lot of the donuts were undercooked and berry during this time was SO much better! Everything was cooked perfectly and everything was so nice and fluffy. Just like the photos online. The flavor was great - wasn’t overcooked in the slightest & wasn’t too oily. The Cronut was nice and big, just like the other photos online, unlike last time. Based on this experience, I’m so glad I gave this place a second chance! I would definitely recommend, and I’d definitely order Cronuts from Terry’s Donuts again!

Tried this place out for the first time on a Friday morning around 7:30 AM. Ordered delivery via UberEats. Food arrived pretty quickly & the order was completed correctly.

Cronut - Pretty small compared to other cronuts I’ve tried in the area. Sides measure the length of a chapstick tube. Flavor is pretty good like a standard crown up, but the texture is pretty dense for a cronut. Some parts taste like batter? Taste like it might not have been cooked all the way?

Cronut holes - Also pretty dense compared to other cronut donut holes I’ve had in the area. Flavor is good.

Cinnamon roll - pretty big; ~5.5 inches in diameter. Flavor is good; Heavy- handed cinnamon. Texture is nice - soft and fluffy.

Overall, I was pretty disappointed with the cronuts. Maybe they were in a rush because it was the morning-rush, but they seemed undercooked to me. From this experience, I would not recommend when compared to other places that have cronuts in the area, but I might try them again in a few months to see if they improve.“

“Gram's was a mainstay during our two years in Dallas. This is the best donut place we went to, and I have been not reviewing for the past 2 years to keep it secret!

Their donut holes (glazed and chocolate sprinkles) are on a whole different level. The chocolate sprinkles do sell out from time to time, but sometimes they're willing to make more. The glazed are the perfect amount of pillowy light donut with that classic donut shop glaze. The chocolate sprinkles take that pillowy donut and add just the right amount of chocolate and the texture from the sprinkles give it a fantastic crunch and add just a bit more sweet.

The other donuts and kolaches also get high remarks, but if you go here, get the donut holes.

Also the couple that owns this place are so kind and sweet. We'll miss you Gram's!

“I saw them while dropping off my dry cleaning around the corner this morning. I'm so glad I swung back and grabbed some glazed. They were all gone by the time I got back on 75. They were so soft and sweet! 😋🤤

I believe they take Apple Pay but there's a minimum of $3 for cards. My glaze was about $1.05 each so I just used cash.

“I can’t say enough wonderful things about this donut shop! For National Donut Day, we wanted to do something special for our customers—and thanks to this incredible team, we absolutely did. We ordered a few dozen donuts, including some custom creations, and even requested handwritten notes inside the boxes. Not once did they hesitate on any of my (admittedly last-minute!) requests.

Tanya was amazing throughout the entire process—so kind, responsive, and easy to work with. The communication was seamless, the donuts were perfect, and everything came together better than I could’ve imagined. “I'm a truck driver and I saw a glowing donut sign and had a sweet tooth. Usually look up reviews but did not. This place is neat and clean. Donuts r well presented. I've never seen a spinach and feta pastry but took a chance on it. Omg so light and flaky and fluffy. Best thing I've ever bought from a donut shop. The donuts are the fluffy kind like in the deep south. Wow. They do have cake ones I think like Krispy Kreme but I absolutely despise cake donuts and krispy kreme in general. “On my regular route to the office, I pass by 4 doughnut shops (not including grocery stores or gas stations), and my goal this year is to try doughnuts and kolaches from all 4 of them. Maple Doughnuts is the 3rd one for me to try and I'd rank it either #1 or #2 on the list depending on my mood. Really good kolaches and doughnuts. I'm a bit of a snob when it comes to the breading on kolaches and the kolaches here have really good, soft breading. I didn't know what to expect based off their appearance because I've really only been to one other place that's kolaches have the kind of breading I like. I'm a super taster and have major sensory issues and am often particular on taste and texture. The breading also just tastes really good but with a slightly more complex taste (in a good way). I also ordered the chocolate sprinkled doughnuts and those were also pretty good too! The staff were kind and included a few glazed doughnut holes and the glaze on them was the best I've had in a while.Overall, really good place to get doughnuts and honestly am gonna try to come by whenever I have extra time before work because Maple Doughnuts is on the opposite side of the street when I'm commuting to work and I can't be late to the office...

“I'm a donut expert Ok, so don't even question me. First of all, the best donut in Texas is at Round Rock Donuts so you know I know what I'm talking about. After trying a lot of places around here, this is the best donut you will find period. Fresh, soft and just the right amount of glaze. More importantly, they change out the oil regularly so you never get that dirty oil taste in your mouth when some shops keep using the same oil over and over.
