dawg why was there so manyonions in the kotatsu and why does it taste sweet :( also their menu online is outdated expect 30-40% increase of prices. their vegetarian ramen is pretty good though. never had avocado in my ramen before
Ultimately I gave this a 3 because the food promises to be something from a special 40 year old tradition, but it literally tasted like $0.35 cent ramen from Kroger. The broth was extremely plain, the egg tasted like PURE soy sauce, and the chicken tasted like frozen chicken bites heated up.
It was rather disappointing. My wife also didn't like the fish/chicken broth (which isnt the restaurants fault), however 3 different people who worked there noticed...

Ramen is ok. The tonkatsu ramen is not as rich and complex-bodied as you’d expect, actually kinda had some Korean yukgaejang taste to it (it wasn’t bad, just not what I’m used to). Services and vibes were great!
