The restaurant Farmhaus Table is a small charming place with a good variety of options. The menu has a good variety and the portions are very good size and reasonably priced. Wait time for food is very short and the staff are super attentive, friendly and wonderful. The waiter makes sure everything is needed and the service is very good. Popular dishes include the chopped steak with mashed potatoes and spinach, chicken fried steak with parmesean fries and beans, and the Bacon Cheeseburger with large quality ground beef and a good quantity of bacon. Fried bacon mac n cheese balls are a huge appetizer, and Fried zucchini is outstanding. The cheese burger and fries are good, and the French fries are perfectly cooked with a bit of seasoning. The salad bar is fresh, great ranch and a real star, and the Brisket egg rolls are a hit with the whole family. The chicken strip basket with a Korean dipping sauce is also outstanding. The wine and beer list is nice and there is a nice selection of drinks. Live music adds a cozy, convenient place. Overall the restaurant is highly recommended, a great option besides Mexican food and fast food in La Vernia, and many guests say they will definitely be coming back.
