We had forgotten about this place but returned after being away for a few years. We were not disappointed. Very nice selection of meats and sides. Friendly staff. Fair prices. Only disappointment was the lack of self serve soda. But sweet tea was fine
Real Texas BBQ that will satisfy everyone... the sides are good and the peach cobbler was amazing. Great drive to a venue that is worth the stop given the mesquite smoked meat is cooked for 18 to 22 hrs and the atmosphere is Texas to the core.
Stopped in on a Sunday about 5pm. Not busy. Friendly and attentive staff from the minute we walked in. Got the lean brisket and it was flavorful, bbq sauce was perfect. Had the sausage and it was tasty as well. I was just slightly disappointed in the cream corn but it just wasn’t to my taste. Has a smoky flavor I wasn’t expecting. Don’t know if they do a sample taste, so I should have asked that. Had the cheesy potato’s, great flavor just dried up on top a bit like it...
