I wish I remembered to take photos the churros seem like their made ro order and are absolutely delicious I had 2 filled churros one with almond cream and the other ponchos spiced bother were warm and amazing would come here again.

Honchos has always been my go to churro place pretty much all over the world that I have eaten churros and I have always loved them since I discovered them back in 2022. I hate to say this , but I feel the quality has gone down a bit. I went back in March 2026, April 2026 and the churros were a little doughy inside and felt a bit undercooked. I never had this taste before so I tried again in June 2026 and it was the same thing the churros tasted a bit doughy. I don't know...

No place in San Antonio makes churros like they do here. The churros aren't just big, but also fresh to the point that you can watch them be made right before your eyes. The freshness is phenomenal. This is not your state fair churros; this is what Texas churros should be. They got a good variety of fillings or sauces. If you're craving churros, Honcho's is the gold standard here in San Antonio. The shop may seem small, but their churros and flavors are not.
