Food was great. Service was slow, but this is the country. My son, who used to live in the areas, swore by the place. After one visit, I concur. Great food, great atmosphere.

I'm a longtime carnivore... The filet I had was THE BEST EVER. Excellent food and excellent service. Don't be fooled by the exterior. Thank you Ali and Patty and the rest of the staff for a great experience, great service and a wonderfulmeal. Get yourself to Beehive in Albany,TX.I promise you it is worth the drive. Also,a great little town!

My mother who is in a wheelchair and I went there on 9/20/2022 and it was an amazing experience. They staff was very nice and very accommodating for my mother. Jessica was incredibly sweet as was the other waitress. The food was amazing. My mother and I have already decided that will be going to this restaurant whenever we visit Albany.

We stopped in here after a day setting our lease up. Have been coming through Albany for years and never tried to stopped. So glad we did. We had the rack of lamb special. OMY it was delicious. The atmospher and setting was historical and love the staff it was difiantly a place to come. And will again. ?

Chicken fry steak was amazing... and the Long Island teas are great

The chicken-fried steak is fantastic: crunchy outside, juicy inside. It's huge and comes with a baked potato and a salad, which you make yourself at the salad bar. What I wouldn't order again is the Burgundy sautéed mushrooms because they didn't have any flavor. The restaurant's interior design is beautiful: entirely covered in wood and dimly lit. Note that Albany is a dry town. While they do serve alcohol, you must pay a $3 surcharge to become a temporary club member.

Food was delicious and staff was friendly!

Poor service and overcooked steak, then sent cold rare steak. Manager was rude and confrontational. Won’t be back.

Lots of people there when the doors opened and there was confusion in who was waiting on whom. Still great food, pleasant staff and owners, Ali was his usual entertaining self, and we enjoyed our meal. Just a little discombobulated this time.

Staff was very nice, and that was hands down the best ribeye I've ever had.

Waitress was rude. Food cold and came out one plate at a time over 45 minute span. Totally disappointed!

A strange mix of high-end menu in a very casual setting. Our food was really good and matched the price point. However, we felt the service was lacking. The waitress asked for our drink order before we even sat down. They have a full service bar, bottled beer, and wine - but no drink menu. The appetizer special for the night was an excellent spinach artichoke dip. I had a filet and my husband went with the prime rib; both also very good. We were hoping for dessert and sat and waited for a full 10 minutes after they cleared our dinner plates but were never asked or told about dessert. We also were never offered an additional drink. We both finished our first cocktail halfway through our appetizer and our glasses sat empty on the table for the rest of our meal. The waitress was very chatty and friendly but just not service oriented. We would have easily each had an additional 2 cocktails and dessert but they never offered.

Great food. Great wait staff. Will definitely go back. Relaxed atmosphere. No matter how far the drive is. It’s worth it.

Literally, may be the best steak I’ve ever had. Totally incredible. Really appreciated the “old school“ atmosphere as well! Felt a lot like an old-school saloon. :-)
