I've had the great fortune of coming to Albany and enjoying the Ice house for 20 plus years. We have truly liked the restaurant the food and shared and made memories over the years. They have been warm, consistent and are a go to for our family. Keep up the good work Ice House!!!Kid-friendliness: Yes fun for the entire family!!
I was there for a Chamber of Commerce luncheon. We had enchiladas (cheese, I believe. It's been a minute.) Served with black beans and rice. Chips and salsa on the side, of course.Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant is not wheelchair friendly. There are stairs up from the sidewalk in the front and stairs down to the dining area if you come in the back. No ramps. It's a historic building and it did start life as an icehouse, so there's not a lot of ADA compliance....read full review

For a small town and the bargain price, this place was really good. Our server was excellent. My wife had the fried catfish which she really enjoyed. I had the mesquite grilled hamburger and it was very good. The mesquite smoke was very flavorful and the bun was exceptionally good, like it was made inhouse. The atmosphere wasn't appealing at all but the food and service was worth it and the prices were very reasonable.
