“This is a great place. We didn't want to go to any of the closest franchise food places around and give this place a try. Best decision ever. Plus if you are traveling they will make your burritos from scratch and fast. Very tasty. Very fresh. I got the egg burrito with nopales and chorizo. Hubby got the pastor burrito and I asked for the large and holly molly it was a huge chunky burrito.”

“We tried the new Jakes on Greenville that opened in Energy Square and it honestly blew us away. The service was amazing, fast, and friendly! We started with the cheese curds, which were super crispy and delicious, and our drinks (the Hurricane and the Margarita) were both spot-on. They had TVs everywhere to watch the game at any angle you were sitting. I had the Jake Special and my husband got the Patty Melt. Both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The onion rings might actually be the best in Dallas… no exaggeration. And do not skip dessert. The funnel fries were better than the State Fair, and the strawberry sauce and maple syrup for dipping were the perfect touch! Prices were really reasonable for Dallas, especially considering the quality of both the food and drinks. Shout out to our server Deven for amazing service!! Bonus: they offer free parking validation, which is a lifesaver if you’re driving. We’ll definitely be back!”

“I live in Granbury. There's a Palio's here in Granbury. My family and I used to go to this one here in Granbury when it was under the management that is now at the Aledo branch. We loved this place. My kids always ate all their food and we all were very satisfied with the food and service. I often wonder how there's differences in food quality and taste being that it's a franchise. I have to accept the fact I don't know how the difference occurred, only that it's an actual fact. We gave the Granbury branch several opportunities to earn our business however they disappointed us every time. The food was just different. The taste was not as flavorful and fresh. The service seemed a bit on the generic side versus authentically warm. We just chose different locations to eat at locally.

Then out of coincidence we found out that the management that was in the Granbury branch was now in the Aledo branch. We went at our earliest opportunity and we felt the same warmth that we used to get at the Granbury location back in the day. We ordered all o our favorite items and when the food came out we instantly felt it was right. The smell, the presentation, and most importantly the taste. It brought us back to when we first ate at Palio's in Granbury. The service was also superior. The owner of the Aledo branch was super nice and attentive. We are lucky to have found the Palio's that we remember....

I hope that the owner of the Aledo branch can acquire the Granbury branch once again so we don't have to travel a bit longer. But if that's what we have to do, then so be it.”

“Nely's Taqueria in Aledo is so good! Great prices and portions. We've tried the burritos, street tacos, and breakfast burritos, all yummy. Inside Shell station so limited seating but great to take home.”

“We moved here in 2022 and this is mine and my husband’s favorite donut shop in Aledo. The owners are always so nice. The prices are reasonable. They always seem to be close to sold out around 10am (weekends), so we try to get here early. The jumbo sausage is our go-to. I like their strawberry donuts, the icing they use wins me over every time compared to other places. Can never go wrong with their donut holes!”

“Nicely designed clean new store, employees were friendly. The food was fine but I couldn't believe how small the burrito supreme is now. The ones at Taco Casa are literally twice as big. It's not really a knock against this Taco Bell but whoever is making decisions to shrink the food. And not have tostadas and green burritos all the time.”
