“I don't know how long it's been reopened. But we stopped by tonight. I asked for a orange juice with my meal. it wasn't brought out. The waitress came by asked about us after the cook did. I told her to remove the orange juice. I see it was scratched out . But the price wasn't changed. Believe I paid for something I didn't recieve. She was new said she was new. so I let it go! The place was very very clean and the food was fresh.”

“I always sit at the bar to order a margarita and queso dip. It’s not busy in the evening on weekdays, but the service was slow. Mr. Walter is always walking around the restaurant introducing himself to the guests and talking to them. He’s such a respectful person with a welcoming voice.”

“I wanted to share my thoughts on Taqueria Taxco. In my experience, the trompo is definitely the best meat option—I highly recommend it in their tacos, burritos, regular tortas, and quesadillas. I’ve found that the other meat options don't quite compare, and I usually regret branching out.

Here are a few things to keep in mind if you visit:

- Toppings: They can be light on sides like onion, cilantro, and lime. I suggest ordering extra if you prefer more, though please note there is an additional charge.
- Dining Environment: The shop is located inside a gas station with very limited seating. Because smoking is occasionally permitted inside the station, we prefer to treat it as a to-go spot. That said, the environment hasn't affected the food quality.
- Ordering: You can order in person, by phone, or via their app (which has a helpful rewards system). Wait times can fluctuate drastically—ranging from 10 to over 30 minutes—so I recommend ordering online and checking the estimated pickup time before you head over.
- Pricing: Expect to spend about $15.00 to $20.00 per person, including a drink. Their 32oz agua frescas are approximately $4.99.
- Service: The staff has always been friendly. It is a fast-food setting rather than a full-service restaurant, so there is no table service.

While I don’t eat here consistently, it is my go-to spot for trompo in the area. I would personally suggest sticking to the trompo items, as I have been disappointed by the nachos, salad, quesabirrias, and carne asada meat in the past.”

“I love Gattis so much, best food in Hudson oak, Matt is a great guy as well as everyone else on the staff team, every time I go shopping I get gattis, everything here is so good!”

“Their drive thru was not illuminated so we opted to walk in and order. It took a while but we had a big order for the family man they forgot our other box of chicken and one of our sides but still good. It was too far away to drive back and replace. It was also too late by the time we got home and realized. It's okay though. If I could go back today and replace would definitely consider it. They also should fix their drive thru window option. I didn't want to come in. I had two hungry kiddos in the car that I had to lug into the store.”

“Corrine was the sweetest person! She is someone who knows how to treat a customer! My son and I were spending the day together and it had already been a pretty great day. Having Corrine help us just topped off a great day! The lady that was working with her (im so sorry I didn't get her name) she was just as amazing. Both ladies made our visit very delightful. “We tried the Martha Stewart collab, but got two of the strawberry cheesecakes since the chocolate cookie tart was sold out. The Lemon tart was pretty good and was kind of like a Key Lime pie. The strawberry cheesecake was ok. Nothing exciting about that. Maybe a strawberry drizzle on top or a strawberry compote would’ve livened it up a bit. The classic fudge brownie was very fudgy and rich, if you’re into that. The pumpkin sheet cake was yummy and wasn’t too sweet, but I’d say my favorite was the coconut layer cake. It was moist, had great flavor and the coconut flakes were a nice touch. Overall, it was a pretty good box of treats. Wish they had a mini version of the Chocolate Chip thins.”

“My 2 year old fell off of the bench to our kitchen table. He hit his head on the arm of the couch and the only thing he cried about, was dropping his Lemon Nothing Bundt Cake onto the floor. That kind of reaction deserves 5 stars in my opinion. We love the Hudson Oaks location. Everyone is always so sweet and the cakes are always delicious!”
