Boo-Ray's of New Orleans Reviews
Take out dinner was Superb! Dixie salad and crab cakes - absolutely perfect! Thanks, Boo Ray’s ??
I ordered the plump stuffed shrimp for lunch. Food was tasty but shrimp was not plump, more small shrimp but great tasting. Ordered the oyster rockfellar and it came out floating in their special crawfish hollandaise sauce. I could not eat it. Oysters were large but the cheese sauce all over was unappealing.
We like to have our family birthday dinners here because they have a large room in the back & we usually have around 20 people. The service is great & the food is always tasty. Highly recommend!

Boo-Ray's of New Orleans offers a welcoming atmosphere with a focus on quality food and attentive service. The restaurant consistently delivers excellent dishes, including the popular Stuffed Chicken with Dirty Rice and the Crawfish Étouffée. Customers praise the homemade taste of the food, particularly the Boudin Balls and Voodoo Sauce, which are described as "beyond incredible." The atmosphere reflects New Orleans fare, creating a nice place for families, friends, and date nights. The menu features a wide variety of Cajun favorites, with some dishes like crab cakes being very hot and spicy, containing tiny jalapeños for a surprising kick. The steak is often noted as exceptional, and the service is generally lovely and attentive, with glasses always kept full. Some guests mention that the food can be a little salty, especially the crawfish and fried shrimp, but overall, the restaurant remains a popular choice for those seeking flavorful, well-prepared Cajun dishes.
