“I absolutely adore this place. The food is fantastic and you get a ton for the price. The staff is friendly & courteous. It is a 45 minute drive for me, & it is completely worth it! I've been three times. The first time I got spaghetti & meatballs. Fantastic. & way more food than I could eat. The salad was huge. The second time I got the chicken alfredo. I liked it better than the spaghetti. This time I got a pizza. It was the best pizza I have ever had that I didn't cook myself. Perfection.”

The only thing is when I drove up, the street lights were flashing, and it looked like there were no lights in the restaurant. We almost left but decided to pull on the doors. I think it would be nice to have some kind of sign showing open that easily seen.”

“I’m born and raised in Lockhart BBQ capital of Texas. My taste buds know great BBQ and Rollies is hands down the best BBQ I have had since moving down here to south TX! I'm gonna be honest. I don't always stop at Starbucks. The consistency across the chain can be hit-or-miss, and I usually prefer local spots. But when you are driving from San Antonio to the RGV with a crying baby in the backseat, you need a sure thing. This location in Alice wasn't just a pit stop, it was a revelation.

The Coffee Test:
I ordered a Peppermint Mocha, a drink that is often ruined by being a sugar bomb. Here? It was perfect. Not too sweet, with the exact right ratio of espresso, mocha, steamed milk, and whip. It restored my faith in what this drink is supposed to be.

The Environment:
The store was immaculate. The vibe was open and inviting, and they have a wonderful outdoor seating area with great furniture if you need fresh air. Most importantly for a traveler? The bathrooms were spotless.

The Verdict:
We took a 10-minute detour to get here, and it was worth every second to soothe the baby and get a quality caffeine fix. If you are making the trek south, this is the place to recharge.”

“Best shave ice in Texas and I should know we are originally from Hawaii where we take shave ice seriously. Staff is friendly and super helpful. Selection is incredible. We stop by here at least once a week if not more. Love this place. Can not say enough good things about them. You must go.”

“I just ordered 3 of their lunch specials. I ordered around 12:40-12:45pm. they told me 10 mins and it would be ready. I show up at 1:05, 20 mins after I ordered to make sure it was ready. as I got there I was waiting for a good 10 mins before anyone acknowledged me. Then I hear a cook come out and say "I just used all the Mexican rice so we ran out. we have enough for the plates ordered but there's no more." after that a girl waitress says "not fair im taking that because I wanted one to go." mind you this is 30 mins after I ordered my food already (still haven't been acknowledged) I finally get a girl to help me and cash me out and what do you know. there's no rice. even tho the cook said he ran out way after I placed my order. but one of the girls wanted it to go home instead that worked there.”

“I want to tell you what a jewel you have in Norma. We took my uncle out for his 86th birthday to Chili's which is one of his favorite restaurants. Apparently, Norma has been Uncle Joe's waitress for 30 years. She's an absolutely wonderful waitress and human being. She deserves a raise!!”

“First item of mention~ is the GREAT tasting beef in my burger. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavor pairing of Blackberry and Dr.Pepper in a shake! A must try! Along with the tasty food was a friendly staff.”

“Food was ok. Not very hot. About what you'd expect at a buffet. Service was fine. My drink never went empty, but at the end they were pushing for payment before I was done eating. The restaurant was a bit dilapidated. Ceiling tiles were gross and mildewy.”
