Tried the carne asada torta which was very good. Got the parrillada (chicken fajita, beef fajita, shrimp and sausage). Generous portions and good price. Had lots of leftovers to take home and made loaded quesadillas the next day!
Food is always a 4.5 star. From the Poblano pepper (stuffed with chicken), the crispy taco plate; enchilada plate - it's all excellent and one of the best Mexican food places around. Service is always speedy and with a smile. We love this place and the people who work here!Vegetarian options: Vegan breakfast plate with egg white omelet.

1st if all, I am very critical of Mexican and Tex Mex food.Along the 281, there are a lot of places to eat called Jalisco or El this or that.I will go off the Expressway to eat here. This place is a gem in Alice.Do yourself a favor and come get these amazing homemade tortillas, the chorizo beans with chips and salsa and of course great Mexican food!I had a Fiesta omelet and papa Ala Mexicana and the potatoes were delicious.
