AMAZING authentic Salvadorian Papusa and tamales. Hands down some of the best I have ever eaten. The kind lady making the food was very generous with the beans and cheese unlike some places that offer you very little filling in your papusa. Ordered a couple of the pupusas from here to try them out ..... They weren't bad a bit on the small side though ..... The curtido wasn't bad either ..... I did like the hot hot sauce oil made from chile macho .....
I first had Anna Cecelia's pupusas at the Alma flea market. I think I've tried all the varieties and they're all delicious! I heard that she had a restaurant now but didn't know where until recently. Here it is! And the food is just as delicious! She has a bigger variety of dishes at the restaurant and I look forward to trying new things next time. ?PSShe still does the flea market on Sundays.
