We visited July 13th, just before close. Good selection of candy by the pound, diy cotton candy, Dublin drinks (try the lemonade). The employee was friendly, helpful and offered suggestions.

Stopped in last minute right before close on our trip to Big Bend. The Owner was so kind and helpful to us. Homemade treats were great especially the cookies. Great variety for the kids!

Gumslingers is neat little candy shop in Alpine. I have a real love of candy specific shops. I did think this candy shop could have a much wider selection and bigger variety , it’s very gummy candy heavy. However; it is a solid candy store. The staff was exceptional friendly. I also love their 3D printed dragon eggs- very cool.

Very nice people and super kid friendly. Patiently answered all my 5 year old's questions! Had candies from all over the world! Can't wait to go back!

Friendly proprietor; excellent selection of treats including candy from Japan.

Old, stale chocolate. Sales clerk informed me it was due to temperature changes. This is not a good thing. For the chocolate or the business’ reputation. Display case of toffee and chocolate turtles needs to be more organized. I didn’t get half of the items I asked for because of how disorganized the labels were.

If you're looking for those old childhood candy favorites, this is the place to look! If you're not, but you want to do the TikTok challenge with the plastic fruit jelly, then check this place out!

I wish I had photos, but we ate the candy and drank the blood bag ( juice) on our 4 hour trip back home!

We came upon this shop on our first visit to downtown Alpine. I was amazed at the wide selection of sweet treats. There was candies from my childhood! There are also baked goods that the owners bake themselves. I recommend the brownies which consist of marshmallows for an ooey gooey goodness! We will stop by again before we leave back home for more delicious treats!
