Needed a place for a good steak night while staying nearby and this was eat, had very good spinach and artichoke dip, followed by a great steak with key lime cheesecake for dessert, would definitely eat here again!

This place actually pretty much sucked. I ordered a ribeye for 40 bucks, and I could have gotten a better steak at the Golden Corral. It was flat, not juicy, full of fat and the baked potato that came with it was cold. Very, very disappointed. $40.. I guess they have no competition because the place was very crowded. But man old man not very good. I had a better experience at McDonald's last night.

As a wheelchair user I have to of course give my review on the accessibility.. from what I saw I'd give them a 9.5/10 on accessibility! Lovely concrete slab for the handicap parking. Flat open floor plan. Large awesome bathroom. We had the ribeye steaks and they were cooked to perfection! The Brussels sprouts were absolutely amazing and definitely addictive. It was so good, we made reservations for tomorrow on our way out.

Our server was awesome, the music playing in the background set the mood (not a bad old country song was played), and the food was really good. Will definitely go back when I visit Alpine.Vegetarian options: My wife had the pasta with pesto sauce (did not add the chicken or shrimp). She really enjoyed it.

Reservations are recommended (but not required ? ). We went on a Friday (of spring break) after 8pm since most everything else local was closed. Over half the tables were empty, but We were told it would be well over an hour wait but we can sit in the bar if we can find room (for 2). Luckily within 15mins a table opened in the bar. The bartenders were a little overwhelmed since this was the advice being given to anyone who walked in, but we still got served in a decent amount of time and food was great.Had the jalapeno popper dip- all the right flavors!Side salads- pretty average, but good.County fried sirloin- breading wasn't super heavy and meat was so tender.Definitely call for reservations!!!!!!!!
Our visit to Spicewood BBQ in Alpine was great. The food was amazing, BEST chicken fried steak we've ever had!!! The view from the back patio was beautiful. Definitely recommend!
