The Ritchey is a one-of-a-kind historic saloon/bar/restaurant- with indoor and outdoor seating ....very cool ambience and decor ...welcoming and fun! The outdoor patio has a stage and there is generally live music - the second story patio is the best sunset spot in town (very few 2 story bldgs in alpine - and fewer still that give such a clear view of the west) Sadly - food is hit or miss - but when you are lucky - the tacos are amazing ! They also welcome food brought in from the outside when they don't have food service - good idea to ask though

We love the Ritchey! Every time we visit Alpine we have to stop by to have a few drinks, play some board games, and listen to some live music while enjoying their great customer service and overall relaxed atmosphere of the place. We will definitely come back here!

We walked down for some drinks a few times during our 3 days in Alpine. The staff was always nice and drinks were good. They allow dogs inside and outside which was nice for us traveling with our pup. Overall we had a great time each visit.

Really nice bar and patio. We sat outside because we had our dog with us. The bartender was very kind, she said we could sit inside too, but we liked the vibe outdoors.
I tried a beer from El Paso that was good. Will go back tomorrow after a long day of hiking!
2nd time we came we sat inside!

The beer is great but the owner is horrible. Be prepared to be treated badly by him and make sure you put your own tables back to make his life easier. Never again.
