If you’re in Alpine for any amount of time, the place you need to go to get a sense of the local vibe and folks is this place. Had such a great experience at the Ritchey during my short stay in Alpine and already miss it!!

What a cool little bar, looks like a hotel from the outside but is a bar throughout. They have so much space, inside, on the patio, and even on the rooftop! The bartender, Maddie, that served me was amazing and definitely made me feel welcome. I love this spot, I would choose to come here over many other places in the area a hundred times over. Thank you!

The Ritchey is a one-of-a-kind historic saloon/bar/restaurant- with indoor and outdoor seating ....very cool ambience and decor ...welcoming and fun! The outdoor patio has a stage and there is generally live music - the second story patio is the best sunset spot in town (very few 2 story bldgs in alpine - and fewer still that give such a clear view of the west) Sadly - food is hit or miss - but when you are lucky - the tacos are amazing !
