Don't let the outside deter you. Excellent bbq (we had sliced brisket and pork chop), good sides (cole slaw and pintos) clean, Texas decor. Friendly service. It was $16.00 for the plate that we split and it was enough for both of us.
This isn't in town. It seems to be in the middle of nowhere but I've been eyeing it when traveling. We stopped today & they have some great bbq!! We didn't wait long for our food. It's simple inside but it's a nice, clean, good place to eat!!

New to the area and just needed a good meal. On the way to Lufkin and right outside of Alto is a hidden treasure. The bbq is great, but on top of that she offers a lunch plate with that old home cookin, you know comfort food. Really glad this place is near, and I can run up and get an excellent meal!!
