When I tell you Moma Matthews came through she came through. I needed cupcakes for me sons Signing Day and she didn’t hesitate. She matched the colors perfectly and the cupcakes were so moist and delicious. They didn’t last long on the table. Everyone loved them! Thank you so much..

I was so excited to try this place because the website looked so good.I showed up I believe it wasn’t the owner and was asking the worker questions on preferences.She seemed bothered about us coming in and had a attitude from the start.The customer service was definitively disappointing.

She makes the most moist cakes and the decorations are spot on. But I have to say the cookies are my favorite. Overall the bakery is outstanding.

Moma Matthews put together a cake decorating party for my girls and their cousins (seven girls total) to celebrate their birthdays. I didn’t get a chance to get any decorations, but just wanted to take the girls to have a good time. I texted Moma Matthews about 30-45 mins before letting her know this. I was just determined to get them there because I just wanted to celebrate them. When we pulled up, they had a sign that wished the girls a happy birthday. When we walked in, I was literally brought to tears because they went above and beyond to make this day so special. They had beautiful decor and goodie bags with some party favors and sweet treats set up for each girl. They had turn tables as aprons for each girl, and the set up was truly breathtaking. The team made sure every girl was taken care of and knew exactly what they were doing. The girls decorated their cakes with, and the afternoon was truly all smiles. Major shoutout to Moma Matthews, Brandie, and Benita. Thank you all so much for making this day so special for the girls. They’re all still raving about the experience! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!! 😭❤️

How sweet it is cakes never disappoints! The cupcakes are always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made, with the perfect balance of sweetness and texture. You can truly taste the quality in every bite. Their specials are just as amazing—a great way to try new flavors without breaking the bank. The owners are super sweet too! This is the only bakery I order cupcakes from.

My mother and I came here to get a birthday cake made for my birthday; a simple cake design. I sent the owner the first picture and the second picture is the cake I got back (Cake toppers were my addition). It was quiet inside the bakery and seemed slightly disorganized and messy behind the counter in the kitchen. The taste of the cake was just average, I believe my mother's homemade cakes taste better. However, we came to this bakery to have a professionally decorated heart cake for my 13th birthday, something my mother is not used to making. We were incredibly disappointed. The colors were extremely off and the small, red roses on the inspiration picture I sent were delicately piped on, while on the cake I got they looked more like globs of maroon icing. The black piping was off-center, which gave the whole cake an un-even, off-centered look. My mother didn't complain at the time because it was only an hour before my party, but she was devastated to bring this home to me and possibly seeing me disappointed or sad about my birthday cake. The cake got the job done for the small family birthday party I had, but still, extremely disappointing. We won't be coming back.

My husband had been looking for cookies from his childhood for a couple of years. I finally had him look them up so I could see where to buy them. I found out they were Little Debbie cookies that were discontinued.

I really wanted to surprise him with some of them for his birthday. I took a chance & went to How Sweet It Is with a picture of the Little Debbie box. Lol. She took a look at it, found a recipe & said it looked easy enough & would try it. I was so excited & hopeful!!

She called me the next day completely excited saying, “I think we have it!!” She even texted me a picture of it!! When I went to pick them up on Thursday, my husband’s birthday, I was excited but a little nervous.

I never should have worried. She absolutely NAILED them!! They even had the hole in the middle of the cookies like the original ones.

My husband had a rough birthday & when I surprised him with the cookies, he knew immediately what they were. It took him exactly 5 seconds to open the package & take a bite. I think he about fell off the couch. He said they were WAY better than the OG ones. I later heard him telling other people how awesome they were. He also said she outdid herself. Great price as well!!

I truly, truly appreciate her willing to try something completely new. I appreciate her being excited for me & with me. Also, for taking the time to work with the recipe & dough to get the shape, look & taste just right!! She made my husband’s birthday amazing!! I will be back with my requests from now on!! ❤️❤️

On October 18, 2025 I had her cater my wedding cake. It was a Three tier (all teors different flavors) and it was absolutely beautiful and tasted delicious.Thank you so much for making our wedding cake, everyone loved it! ❤️
