“Was craving some seafood. Ordered Cocktail de Camarón and Ceviche tostadas. Was great and satisfied a seafood craving. I'll be back for chile relleno soon. That's my favorite thing, I usually order first time somewhere that has them.”

“Traveling for a meeting and I decided to stop by for a gas station snack. Changed my mind and came into Campo for a breakfast taco. Best one I have ever had. Great people and very nice. If you are traveling or near please go. Hands down great food.”

“Dusty Roads is a true gem. This food truck provided all the flavors of good old fashioned barbecue that I didn’t know existed in Alvarado. The delicious sides were a welcome addition and the friendly customer service and care was all you would expect from your good old Texas Cue!”

“When i came to this taco restaurant my dad slipped on some water on the floor and broke his back! When i asked one of the waiters to call 911 they just dumped five tacos on him! So i grabbed all five of the tacos and bashed them into her face, She then started yelling and crying because of the hot sauce in the tacos! So after she fell to the floor i started stomping on her and yelling at her, Then i saw a rat on the floor so i grabbed it and threw it in the deep fryer and force fed it to her! Then the cops came and took my dad to the hospital and i got sent to jail! Never coming back to this horrible restaurant! 😡😡😡”

“The people who run this snow cone stand are friendly and very customer oriented. They are familiar with all the wide variety of flavors that are listed on the menu and will allow you to sample a flavor if you ask. I ordered a pink lady, a flavor I have not seen offered anywhere in years. Delicious!! Can't wait to go back and try one of the specialty snow cones with ice cream. Give them a try. You won't be disappointed.”

“My husband had been looking for cookies from his childhood for a couple of years. I finally had him look them up so I could see where to buy them. I found out they were Little Debbie cookies that were discontinued. I really wanted to surprise him with some of them for his birthday. I took a chance & went to How Sweet It Is with a picture of the Little Debbie box. Lol. She took a look at it, found a recipe & said it looked easy enough & would try it. I was so excited & hopeful!! She called me the next day completely excited saying, “I think we have it!!” She even texted me a picture of it!! When I went to pick them up on Thursday, my husband’s birthday, I was excited but a little nervous. I never should have worried. She absolutely NAILED them!! They even had the hole in the middle of the cookies like the original ones. My husband had a rough birthday & when I surprised him with the cookies, he knew immediately what they were. It took him exactly 5 seconds to open the package & take a bite. I think he about fell off the couch. He said they were WAY better than the OG ones. I later heard him telling other people how awesome they were. He also said she outdid herself. I truly, truly appreciate her willing to try something completely new. I appreciate her being excited for me & with me. Also, for taking the time to work with the recipe & dough to get the shape, look & taste just right!! She made my husband’s birthday amazing!! I will be back to see her with my requests from now on!! ❤️❤️”

“Stopped in their Alvarado location for an after lunch pick me up. The ladies behind the counter greeted me as I walked in. Grabbed a tasty hot latte with toasted marshmallow syrup that hit the spot! Always nice to find a local coffee shop. Next time I will have to try some of the food they offer.”

“12/4/25 4:30pm.. I just tried the beef burrito and super nachos. I think they both could had a little more beef and cheese but it was still very delicious. I should have taken a picture before i hav eaten both. Maybe next time. Im definitely going back.”
